1337 Pharma offsets its CO2 emissions

What are we talking about ?

1337 Pharma, true to its values, wants to be part of a healthy production by limiting its CO2 emissions, or even eliminating them.

1337 Pharma thus collaborates with Reforestum, a company that takes care of limiting the emissions of other companies by planting trees and providing Carbon Credits.

What is Reforestum?

Reforestum’s mission is to connect and empower citizens and organizations with the common goal of reversing climate change. By protecting and restoring the Earth’s forest ecosystems together, the goal is to build a safer, healthier and more equitable future for ourselves and the generations of tomorrow.

1337 Pharma x Reforestum

Reforestum is important for 1337 Pharma in the current context of global warming and company values. Indeed 1337 Pharma bought 50 VCUs from Reforestum (Verified Carbon Units). This makes it possible to offset all the CO2 emissions linked to production over one year, by planting trees in a forest in Peru.

This forest is the Cordillera Azul National Park which is located between the Huallaga and Ucayali rivers. Created in 1963, this forest was initially exploited for its wood. Then in 1999 an alliance of NGOs called Red Ambiental Peruana and COPRI (Authority for Timber Exploitation Rights) carried out research on the fauna and flora in this area and made the northern part under protection. In 2001, the whole forest was finally placed under protection and became a national park. The fauna and flora being rich, you can find many rare and unique animals in South America.

The Reforestum project is a long-term one, thus ensuring continuous reforestation of the forest.

Thanks to this collaboration between 1337 Pharma and Reforestum, dozens of trees will be planted in favor of this forest.
